Easter Resurrection Eggs

Resurrection Eggs are a hands-on illustration to teach the Easter story to children. We encourage you to use this tool the 12 days leading up to Easter (Resurrection Day). Each day there is an egg with an item in it to represent a part of the Easter story.

Helpful Hints

  • Each day have a child open an egg and tell you what’s inside.

  • Make sure the eggs are opened in order.

  • Read the scripture assigned to that item or have the child read it.

  • Explain what the scripture means in the Easter story.

  • Be sure to keep the lesson brief.
